How many years have you been running dogs?
19
Tell us about your dogs, particularly some stories or facts about dogs running the 2020 race with you

Our team is our own breeding, they were raised and trained by us. They are our co-workers as well as our family!

How did you get started running dogs?

Chasing a dream...

What do you love most about running sled dogs?

The bond. The focus. The connection to the dogs, the land and the history. Just being out there...covering country.

Are you a member of any other organizations involved in sled dog sports?
Two Rivers Dog Mushers
Why did you enter the Yukon Quest? What are your goals for the race?
2020 specifically for the Fairbanks start. Living with the Quest trail right in my backyard in Two Rivers. Passing by home on Day 1 makes a lot more sense than at the end. To get my team to Whitehorse as quick as we can while still keeping it a fun and positive experience for me and the dogs.
How did your dogs get their names?/ How do you choose names?

Themes mostly. Jazz. Hip Hop. Monsters. Warriors.

What music do you listen to on the trail?

Dubstep mostly at night. Reggae in the day.

Share a quick story about one of your indispensable Handlers

My wife, Emily. She's awesome. I wouldn't be here without her.
